OUR TEAM

Our team is not just a group of professionals; we are a community of passionate, empathetic, and experienced individuals committed to making a difference in the lives of those we support.

Cody Stonehouse (He/Him)

Founder / Support Worker – Berwick

Hi all, my name is Cody, and I’m a 27-year-old male who has been working in the sector for over 4 years. I have a bubbly and happy-go-lucky personality which gets me through my day(s). I’m also compassionate, empathic, reliable, honest, and an outgoing individual.

All my clients view me as their ‘older brother role model’ due to our common interests and hobbies. In short, we love discussing sci-fi (Star Wars, Marvel, etc.) and participating in recreational activities (indoor & outdoor).

While providing support, I embrace the person-centred approach so my clients can have choice and control in their lives. As a result, they feel safe and secure while remaining enthusiastic with me during our sessions.

I understand that everyone is unique in their own little way, so I treat my clients as individuals with the utmost respect and integrity while supporting them on their journey of personal growth and development.

During my career - thus far, I have worked with participants who live with ADHD, Autism, Intellectual Disability, Hearing Impairment, Mental Health (Anxiety & Depression), Schizophrenia and Epilepsy.

Hopefully, I will hear from you soon!

Heather Smith (She/her)

Support Worker – Somerville

Hello everyone, my name is Heather, and I am a mature woman who is young at heart. I have a lifetime of experience in the disability sector due to my personal and professional life. I am an easy-going and reliable individual who demonstrates compassion, empathy, and honesty.

Focusing on my personal life, I am a loving mother of two beautiful children – they are my world. I cherish my time with my children and understand the personal struggles that parents and caregivers can face. As such, I am extending my arms and love to support those in need.

As a mother, I have an enriched understanding that patience is a virtue and that everyone is different in their own little way. I embrace the person-centred aprroach so my clients can have a more memorable experience with me and, ultimately, have choice and control in their lives.

Drawing back to my experience, I have an intermediate family member who lives with Schizophrenia. In addition, I recently spent 2 years working with a gorgeous individual who lives with Cerebral Palsy. The two individuals I have/had in my life have shaped me into the professional support worker I am today, enabling me to be competent in my role.

I cannot wait to hear from you.
